Mona Lisa Casillas
Staff Accountant
Mona attended the University of Houston-Downtown and received her B.B.A. in Accounting in 2005 and her B.B.A. in Finance in 2007. She proudly served in the United States Army from 1993 to 1997. She then worked as a consultant in the telecommunications industry before going back to college in 2003. She joined Maddox, Thomson & Associates in 2006. Mona is currently studying for the CPA Exam. She has a daughter Maya Lael and is a member of Lakewood Church.
Cathleen Nguyen
Cathleen is a recent graduate from the University of Houston with a B.B.A. in Accounting. She is pursuing her CPA certification as she continues her career with Maddox Thomson. Cathleen works as a volunteer at the Neighborhood Center Inc. by assisting others prepare their individual income taxes.
Pedro Obando
Pedro graduated from the University of Houston in 2010 with a B.B.A. in Accounting and a minor in Marketing. While at the University of Houston, Pedro also received a certificate in Professional Selling and a certificate in Entrepreneurship. Now studying for the CPA Exam, Pedro is married to Cristina Obando and resides in Crosby. He attends The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day-Saints.
Prisma Lizalde
Prisma has recently joined Maddox Thomson & Associates with three years of previous experience in accounting service and tax preparation. Prisma graduated with honors from the University of Houston with a B.B.A. in 2008. She is currently studying to take her CPA Exam. She is a member of St. Mary Catholic Church.
Lisa Hao
Lisa received her B.B.A. degree in accounting in China, and was a Charted Accountant in China. Now a CPA, Lisa obtained her MBA degree from Lamar University before moving to Houston and joining Maddox Thomson in January of 2011. She is a member of the TSCPA. Lisa is married to David and has two children, Kevin and Kelly.
